Matches for Les Bleus, the Six Nations Championship, major concerts: the Stade de France hosts the country's biggest events. With nearly 80,000 seats, it is best to plan your visit. Here is our guide, brought to you by Velora Ticket, a professional reseller of sports and concert tickets since 2017.
Where is the stadium located?
The Stade de France is in Saint-Denis (93), just north of Paris, in the Plaine Saint-Denis district.
How to get there by public transport
- RER D: Stade de France – Saint-Denis station, just a few minutes' walk away.
- RER B: La Plaine – Stade de France station.
- Metro line 13: Saint-Denis – Porte de Paris station.
- Metro line 14: Saint-Denis Pleyel station, followed by a short walk.
On match days, public transport is very crowded when leaving. If you can, wait a few minutes in the stadium or choose a less busy station than the one you arrived at.
What time should you arrive?
Plan to arrive at least 1 hour and 30 minutes before kick-off for an international match. Pat-downs and bag checks take time, and you will be able to enjoy the atmosphere and the anthems.
Categories and stands: how to find your way
Categories vary depending on the organizer, but the logic is often the same:
- Categories 1 and Gold: along the pitch, offering the best overall view. These are the most sought-after.
- Intermediate categories: in the corners or slightly higher up.
- Categories 5 and 6: behind the goals or higher up. More affordable, ideal for the atmosphere.
- Supporters' stand: for singing and cheering throughout the match; fans often remain standing here.
The block and row number are indicated on our listings when known. The higher the row number, the higher up you are in the stand.
