Plenitude Arena (formerly Paris La Défense Arena): access, transport, and tips for your concert

Le mag Velora Ticket : accès et conseils pour la Plenitude Arena

Do you have a ticket for a concert at the Plenitude Arena, formerly Paris La Défense Arena? It is the largest indoor venue in Europe, located in Nanterre, just behind the Grande Arche. Here is what you need to know to arrive stress-free and enjoy the show. This guide is provided by Velora Ticket, a professional reseller of concert and sports tickets since 2017.

Where is the venue?

The address is 99 Jardins de l'Arche, 92000 Nanterre. The arena is located at the end of the La Défense esplanade, behind the Grande Arche. In concert configuration, it can accommodate tens of thousands of spectators: entry and exit flows are therefore significant.

How to get there by public transport

  • La Défense – Grande Arche station: RER A, metro line 1, tramway T2, and Transilien lines L and U. From there, allow 10 to 15 minutes on foot crossing the esplanade.
  • Nanterre – Préfecture station (RER A): an often less crowded alternative after the concert.

Driving is discouraged on big concert nights: the La Défense car parks fill up quickly and leaving can be time-consuming.

What time should you arrive?

Plan to be on-site at least one hour before the start of the concert. There is security and bag screening at the entrance, and the queue can be long. Doors opening times are indicated by the organizer a few days before the event.

Choosing the right seat

  • The floor (or pit) is closest to the stage. Depending on the concert, it is seated or standing.
  • Lower stands (100 blocks) often offer the best compromise between proximity and an overall view.
  • Upper stands (400 blocks) are further away but allow you to see the entire production.
  • "Side stage" seats are close but to the side: the view may be partial. On Velora Ticket, these are always marked as limited visibility.

Before you go: the checklist

  • Your ticket is in the ticketing app (or printed if it is a PDF e-ticket).
  • Your phone is charged, with a power bank if possible.
  • An ID, especially if the ticket is nominative.
  • A small bag: large bags and certain items are refused at the entrance.

Enjoy the concert!
