On a resale site, a ticket listing often contains a lot of information in one line: "Category Gold · Block 117 · Row 25 — Trio (3 seats) · Side stage · Restricted view". Here is how to read it, based on the rules we apply on Velora Ticket.
Category, block, row, seat
- The category (Gold, 1, 2, 3...) corresponds to the price level defined by the organizer. In general, the lower the number, the better the seat.
- The block is the section of the venue or stadium. In an arena, 100-level blocks are in the lower tier, 400-level blocks in the upper tier; letters often designate the floor.
- The row is the line within the block: the lower the number, the closer you are to the stage or field.
- The seat is the exact seat number, when already known.
1 seat, duo, trio, batch: the displayed price
On Velora Ticket, the displayed price is always for the entire batch, including taxes and fees:
- 1 seat: the price is for a single seat.
- Duo (2 seats): the price covers both seats, sold together.
- Trio, quartet, batch of 5, 6, or 8 seats: same principle for the whole group.
To avoid any confusion, each listing also indicates the price per seat right under the batch price. Seats in the same batch are side-by-side and cannot be separated, unless stated otherwise.
"Side stage" and "restricted view"
A side stage seat is close to the artists but off to the side: part of the stage or screens may be obscured. A restricted view seat may also be hindered by technical equipment or a difficult angle. These seats are cheaper and remain very popular for the atmosphere and sound.
In the vast majority of cases, the obstruction is minor: a technical element or a side angle masks a small part of the stage, but the artist and the screens remain clearly visible. Doubts about a specific seat? Call us before you buy: we will describe the view to you.

Pit, floor, stand
- Pit: standing area in front of the stage, without assigned seating. Arrive early for a good spot.
- Floor: the ground level of the venue, with numbered seating or standing depending on the concert.
- Stand: tiered seating around the stage or field, with an elevated view.
Delivery method
It is specified on each listing: most often an official transfer to your ticketing account, sometimes an e-ticket sent by email. Delivery is free and your tickets arrive no later than 48 hours before the event. Everything is explained on our ticket delivery page.
